Kristy & Josie Shower

I haven't yet posted these fun pictures from Kristy's shower 2 weeks ago. Josie will be here in about 6 weeks, can't believe it!

Her bedding is super cute, and has little birds on it, hince the bird theme below.

I didn't get enough pictures from the shower at all. I guess we were too busy having fun! So I am stealing this great one of KQM from Morgan.

Jumper Fun!

She likes being bounced by us. And laughing. And keeping her legs stiff as can be.
That is her new thing while we change her diaper, too, you should see that.
Funny child. Fun child.

Grill...finally.

Oh yeah. Got the grill today. I do have say that the Lowes assembly folks might need some training. I got the grill home and the grates were not inside the grill. Then, I noticed there was a screw missing that holds the propane tank up.

Unfortunately, I suck at cooking. For some reason, I couldn't get the grill temperature past 300 degrees. So, my burgers took forever to cook, and therefore, tasted like hockey pucks. Nevertheless, it felt really good cooking outside, with a freshly-cut yard, and a lovely lady next to me. Bella was jumping away in the jumper, too. It's the little things.

Cravin' Burgers!

So tonight, Chris and I were cravin' burgers. Bad. Who isn't craving grilling out with this weather??
We decided to go to Lowes and pick up a grill. We had been eyeing them. You see, we sold the old grill with the old house. All of a sudden, all we could think of to eat was anything off the grill.
We got a pic with a nice grill, not the one we picked out.

She was doing good today, even after the shots (see last post).

Well, after picking out the one we wanted, we were informed there were none on the floor, so we had to pay and plan to pick it up tomorrow. So that's what we did.


But we left still salivating. For ANYTHING GRILLED.


Should we go to Home Depot? No, we had already paid for one... we can wait until tomorrow...


Should we go to Five Guys? No, too expensive and we can wait a day...

6 month checkup!

We had Bella's 6 month checkup today. This pic is on the doctor's table. She weighed in at 14 lbs 14 oz and 27.25 inches long. Pefect health. 4 shots (no fun) but she's sleeping it off now...

I have so much fun hanging with my old high school class officer girl friends. We are in the midst of planning our 10 year reunion. That's Heather, Leigh Ann and Marie-Louise!

Seriously, they are so great. We met today in town to decide on a venue and we think we found our place! Even if just the 4 of us show up - it will be fun.

One great thing about having grandparents... babysitting.



Chris' parents kept Bella while we were at the wedding today. They took a walk and even washed the dogs for us (which was much needed).

Bella is getting so big! (I think of the way Amanda says this everytime I say "so big" - and how Noah raises his hands!) But she is getting cuter by the second, if you can even imagine it. :) She's got two bottom teeth coming in and it's super cute. I love the little smile she's got going on with those things!

She's also babbling a little more these days. She talks to her feet the most. I guess she's saying, "I'm going to eat you!" and then tries her best to do so.

And don't fret, I haven't given the poor girl any more green beans. I think I got the most comments ever on that video! She ate them up for the first 3 days, then she remembered that other things taste a whole lot better. But you gotta agree that the video was awesome.
