Belly Pics
I haven't been great at getting belly pictures this time around. It seemed like such a big task to do every week like we did with Bella, although I love that we did those! And I didn't do them with Farrah, but we did monthly pictures of her with the teddy bear in the chair and I love those too!!
And with maternity shots... we had some done with Bella. Angela Morris did an awesome job. I don't think we had any official maternity photos done with Farrah?
Chris had his photography gear out Tuesday and took some photos of me & Hallie after I returned home from a Christmas party. (Usually I'm in PJ's by 4pm!) We were even able to capture the B&W photo, similar to the one we had with Bella. I'm glad we took some!

The Rock Ranch
We went to The Rock Ranch a couple of weeks ago. It was a beautiful day!
I love this man. He is just my favorite person on the planet, in so many ways.
We played in a teepee, fed some goats and rabbits, ground up some corn (random - ha!), took a hay ride - but the favorites were playing in the "Tiny Town" and the jumpy pillow. Enjoy the pics!

Storytime/ Bedtime
At night, we usually read a book or two. On this particular night, we were doing an "I Spy" Book. It is fun because Bella can look for things, and Farrah can practice saying all kinds of everyday words.
Here... Bella says, "Farrah! You cannot talk when I am talking!"

Then, this is a second later ... (slap!)

So we move on to "I'm a little tea pot"

I have such sweet kids. :) And I have a great husband who goes and grabs a camera anytime he sees a cool, or even everyday, moment. One of the million reasons I love him. (And yes, it is every night that Bella refuses to wear PJs to bed).
And look at the precious baby:

Ballet with Dad
Two Thursday's ago was our last ballet class. Nothing was keeping Bella on task. Not even the cupcakes for the end-of-class reward sitting on the table.
She was just doing spins all over the room.

Chris walked over and I figured he was having another "talk" with her. But then, Daddy joined in the routine! It was great. Such a good dad!! And some entertainment for the whole class, too :)

Father's Day Weekend
Father's Day weekend, also my father-in-law's (AKA Steve-o, Poppy) and Grandmother's birthday weekend, we spent with lots of family!
Saturday morning Poppy and Chris finished building the big sandbox for the girls. Bella loves it! I know Farrah will enjoy it one day, too.
Poppy:

Then -- My brother Ryan just closed on a house last month in a fun neighborhood! They have concerts on Saturday nights in the summer, so we went for "country night" this particular weekend. He and Melissa are going to enjoy this community so much!
Bella loved running in the open grass. We enjoyed the entertainment and doing something different - even in the sweltering heat. It was a great night!! We pushed Farrah's bedtime out a bit, and paid for that on the ride home. But it was worth it :)
My Dad (G-Daddy) and Bella:

It was so hot, we were down to a diaper by the end of the night!
I am so thankful for all the dad's in our life. A dad plays such a huge role in a girl's life and how she views the Lord. So I am thankful that I married a man who will do his best at raising our Bella and Farrah with grace, a whole lot of love, while showing them how to serve others and love their mom like no other :)

Bathroom Project
Look at what my hubby did, with some help from his friend Mark on the tile laying... Man of Many Talents, Chris is! :) I gotta brag on Chris. I love watching do all this stuff and see the finished result. We are always crazy during these renovation projects, but love the finished result. He'll do a Tim the Toolman Taylor sound afterwards, too... :)
And, in case you don't know us well... we kinda live in craziness. We don't really know of any other way ;)
We are loving using this bathroom for bath time for the girls now!!

Easter '09

| From Easter 2009 |
First, Buckhead Church had a Good Friday service which rocked! Click here if you want to see the ending that was so cool. The whole song, True Love by Phil Wickham, isn't on here b/c of copyrighting stuff, but you'll get the idea... this led up to that song.
Our small group got a babysitter, then our Moms and Brian came up for the service. Afterwards, Chris and I got a date night!!!
I think that was my favorite part of the weekend - besides working services, Chris was home all weekend and we had such a great time!!
Anyway, Mom kept Bella Friday night, and Chris and I got the convertible in exchange. We slept in, went to Waffle House, and just around in the Mustang. But I have to say, we both missed the poo out of Bella. We met mom later in the day for the exchange. She came home in pig-tails. Pictures to come later. OMG cute.
OK! So Sunday, The Greens met us at church in the morning. Bella wore a cute dress that was monogrammed - and get this - given to us from a friend with the same initials. It was super cute!! Thanks Greenways!
We then let her nap a while before going to lunch at my aunts. And of course Chris took some amazing pictures which I will finally share with you.
