Bella got this tripod out of Dad's closet & set it up by herself. She stood behind it and said, "CHEESE!" I think we've used this all of 3 times; crazy what they pick up on!! I think she's telling us we need to take some more photos...

... just wait until next week at the beach!

Last Month via the Camera Phone

I have been a TERRIBLE blogger. You might not care, but I do. I like keeping a journal of what we are up to, what Bella is up to. We've been so busy and not taking many pics. I have, however, been taking pics with the iPhone. So, here is a recap of some of the things we've been doing thru the lens of my phone...

Going to the park. Loves the swing & slide:

Going to the pool. Eating one of her fav snacks, grapes. She gets a grape out of the drawer EVERYTIME the fridge opens. And, if she can manage, she sneaks them at the grocery store.

Glenwood Park day out

Last weekend, we hung out with Jessica and her two boys, Titus and Jonas, at Glenwood Park. It was a HOT day (at least for this preggo!) but Bella loved her some Titus!

4th of July

I am super super super behind in posting. And I hate it because I really do like blogging! This summer has been a busy one, with OwnTheMix.com and real estate stuff keeping us busy!!
We took a break over the 4th of July to join the Greens and Eurek's up in Dahlonega. Renya and Bruce have a beautiful new home they have built - what a view that was to wake up to! It was a nice relaxing 4th with some pool time at the R-Ranch, hiking to rivers and waterfalls, and just taking in the quiet. Here are some great shots from the weekend.

WE ARE SO EXCITED AND EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT! Measuring right on time!

Destin '09

Father's Day night, we left for a trip with Morgan and the Walker's to Destin! We had a great condo at the beach (thanks, Katie!). It was a wonderful trip. Bella is at such a fun age and Chris and I had a blast just watching her.

It took a couple of days until she would walk on the sand. She loved the ocean and saying "OH NO!" and "Here it comes!" every time a wave came. Such a joy.

Nothing major to talk about, it was just a nice & relaxing trip. We did take the wagon down, and it was wonderful to cart the tent, chairs, Bella, etc. all down at one time. Chris & Bobby got to play a couple days of golf. It was Amelie's first trip to the beach. Bella loved the "baby" and all her toys. Morgan came back 5x more tan than the rest of us. And I learned it's not easy to lay out with a baby bump. I rested under the tent a lot. It was a nice vacation. :)

Oh, and for such a camera happy family, we hardly took ANY! We did get a FLIP video camera right before we left... so hopefully we'll have some videos up soon!
