Splashing Around

We stopped at a fountain today to let the girls play. It was a little chilly, but they played for a bit. And they entertained us by running through the water for pictures. They have been so good tagging along with us as we move in one place and out of another. We try to remember to go have fun, too, in between all the "to-do" lists right now.

How fun are these pictures Chris captured?

My girls are growing UP!!!

I can hardly stand it!! Chris and I look at them daily and can't believe how much they are growing. Now that the weather is getting so nice, we'll be getting the camera out more. And with baby on the way, of course!! These are from today. I just had to share because they are so fun!!!!! (The pictures and my kiddos!)

Bella and Farrah at 5.5 and 3.5 years old:

Loves her baby dolls. And her baby cousins. Oh how I can't wait to see her with Baby Green!!

Bella:

Picture Night at the Beach

Our Group Shot!
We missed you, Keegan!!
IMG_1841

A couple of things to note on both of these pictures, the biting flies were TERRIBLE on this night!!! Oh my goodness!!! So if our faces looked strained or painful... you know why!

And also in this picture below, my granddad made a tombstone for the hurricane. We were so sad that our vacation was most likely going to end early... and it headed in a totally different direction. I think our pirate-ness scared him off.

I wasn't kidding. We took a few pics then hauled it back up to the house!

I miss the beach!! Blessed that we live so close to heaven though, and were able to go with both of our families this year! I'll TRY to get the rest of the pictures on the next post! There are so many good ones it's always hard to choose.

Vacation Days 3,4,5

After our great day at Magic Kingdom on Monday, we decided to stay a little longer in Orlando! Plus... our house back home was staying clean which was good for showings :) Tues, Wed and Thursday we just kinda played around the house, in the hot tub (which the girls called the swimming pool - it was a great size and good temp to get in there!) and we did a lot of bad eating :) Vacation calories don't count. Riiiiiiiiight.

The girls sang Happy Birthday to me

Rachael always talks about Rainforest Cafe, so we had to try it!!!
I just love Bella's coloring these days. She loves to color!

Rachael asked if the girls were scared, but they seemed to like it. But I asked Farrah to do a scary face so I could send her a picture.

She cracks me up more everyday!

We also painted fingernails, watched TV, and the girls "played babies" a lot.

Farrah has also started potty training, I guess. I should probably be more all about it since she's interested... but it was hard to want to worry about it on vacation. But we moved to Pull Ups, and she's keeping it dry most of the time. Even while traveling in the car, she asks to stop and go. This is what we did with her when she wanted to go while in the hot tub... :)

And... Chris worked those photography skills! He loves taking cool shots and loves taking of them of our girls. I reap all the benefits (and I have no idea how to work that camera!!)

We went to Hollywood Studios on Friday (our last day - pics to come). We enjoyed getting to spend the day there with Uncle Ryan and Aunt Melissa - and the girls got to meet their FAVORITE Disney Characters (Oso and Jake!)... they were in HEAVEN!!

While away, I was following Jeannie's progress, and thought about her every second on Friday! Friday Porter was born, and there seemed to be so many reminders of Hallie and Porter that day. March is Trisomy Awareness Month! There is an actual get together in Orlando/Disney in 2 weeks. Some trisomy children get to ride on a float! But while we were there Friday, I swear I saw so many families that had children with trisomy. I don't know if there was a different get together, or what was going on, but it was noticeable to Chris and I. It made me happy, but I also could feel that pit in your stomach... that night I had to come home and research just to know if there was a gathering that I had perhaps missed. But I don't think there was. I think it was just a sweet reminder of Hallie and of Porter.

Thanks also for those who have been praying for the Peabody's. Jeannie is amazing.

BEAUTIFUL PICTURES of Hallie's arrival!

I can't believe that I haven't posted a link to this yet. I spoke about it, and it was on the "Hope for Hallie" Facebook page, but you have got to see these beautiful pictures that Christy Martin took of our sweet first moments with Hallie. Just click here.

Priceless.

Thank you for ministering to us, Christy.

We continue to be so thankful for all the support and comments. To know that Hallie had so much influence in her 5 days makes us so proud to be her parents. We miss her so much and look forward to figuring out ways to carry on her legacy. Thank you all for the prayers and support.

Update & Some Pictures

Hello friends!
So I had a Dr. Appt today... and we are set for a Monday am induction! They think Hallie has turned back to head down, but will check again before being induced. I'll go in Sunday night to settle in and be induced early the next morning.

My mom reminded me that Sunday night is the Survivor finale! Sounds silly, but that is one of a few shows Chris and I watch, and we rarely get to watch live. So we'll just try and relax at the hospital and watch :) Bella was born during Survivor (our family was out watching in the waiting room!) And we thought Farrah would be, too, but she came much earlier in the day than we all thought she would.

I have so many things I could write - but I don't think I could cover it all adequately. (Plus I'm in a nesting mood, and I surely need to go clean a baseboard or organize under the sink.) Thank you for all the prayers, messages, calls, cards once again. I have felt such a peace this week. Much much better than last week even. I know it's because we have so many people carrying the burden with us and praying for us!

We have great friends, far and near praying. We were covered in prayer yesterday by Chris' co-workers and our friends at church. The women I've met going through this have been such a blessing. And I know we have people visiting this blog from all over. Who knew when I was trying to decide to even share this news on the blog that it would have been such a great outlet for me.

We really are doing well this weekend. We love the continued prayers for us - but specifically for Hallie and for what her life means. I have enjoyed sharing our progress with you and we certainly hope to have many more things to share after she is here. (After we soak up every moment with her!) I may have family/friends update so you can know how to pray for us. :)

I think that is all for now... enjoy some fall photos of the girls... from back when there were leaves on the trees! Then... a few more from this week after my brother graduated.

Bella Smiles
