Life is crazy, nuts and all kinds of looney around here. But I'm told it won't always be like this. Julianne is an absolute breeze - it's just that we are outnumbered! Some nights I crash from exhaustion, and other nights I wonder if I can make it, and then there are times when I feel totally blessed and just laugh at how little - but how much - we can do in one day.
Julianne is just amazing. Here she is, last night, celebrating her 2 month birthday.
Oh, wait. First, I had to go find "Pink Bear." I found him dressed up in the big girls' room.

This is such a fun, fun age! And she's also into things more than ever. Some of her favorite past times are: -Throwing things in the toilet -Climbing on the tables, chairs and couch -Eating, or attempting to eat, markers and chalk -Giving me a heart attack
Farrah is such a sweet little girl. She doesn't sit still for long, so I treasure the times she will cuddle or fall asleep on me while reading a book like she did last night. And so smart. She watches everything her sister does, learning all kinds of stuff. She also has some of her own unique interests. She really is intrigued by airplanes these days. She loves to find the airplane in her word book (or make me find it) and shout, "Air-D!"
She has a deep, contagious laugh.
I've been trying to collect the things she can say (or actively says on her own)
Baby I don't know "I did it!" (sounds like "I de de" - she loves to say this after buckling her seat belt herself) so proud. Hold me What's that? (Waz dat) Open Mine Night Night Up Hide (loves hide and seek with sister) Out (loves outside) Yes/No (no being much more prevalent) Bella (sounds more like Ba Ba) Apple Lola/Ruby/doggie Ball Spoon Boat Bird (actually, she says "Beerr" but she's trying) Oh Toodles Elmo And family names like Mama, Daddy, GG, Nana, Poppy, GDaddy and Kee-gee) :) Boo-boo Milk is "Mo"
And of course, I speak Farrah, so most of these things have come through a lot of translating over the past month. It's funny how mom's can speak another language! :) "Hold me" is a new, and very used one.
Her hair is growing in so rapidly now. Sweet big waves on her head.
Here she is coloring (she's starting to see how you color something in, like these flower petals, and not just coloring the whole page. Or my floor. Not that she sits still very often to color. But it's holding her attention a little longer now :) And look at all that hair!! Watching a child grow is just amazing. I love my Farrah Kate so much. Two girls really is so much fun! :)
She is amazing. Into everything. On TOP of every piece of furniture. This age is great. The other night, I hurt my ankle while holding her. I had to set her down as I sat down to look at the damage (It wasn't that bad, but hurt and I was trying not to over react with the girls there watching me!) But she could tell I was hurt. She just stood there looking concerned for a second then came gave me a huge bear hug. It was so darn sweet!! Bella said, "Awwww. It's okay, mommy. We can get a band aid." I have two sweet, sweet little girls.
Farrah's Birthday Party was a "Pink Bear" Theme... (coming from the monthly pictures). The decorations came out just as I wanted them to, and the weather couldn't have been better! I had first envisioned a small family party, but then of course didn't want to jip Farrah of celebrating her first year like we did Bella! We had a great crowd - LOTS of family and just a few family/kids. But it was filled with people who LOVE Farrah for sure!! The pictures above we staged after the party (after the table cloths were removed, etc.) I didn't get a picture of the cute food - cupcakes with chocolate bears on the top, pink rice krispie treats, cute cups, etc. We had chili and a few different snacks. Oh! And then I found the perfect dress! A pink toile dress with bears on sale at Gymboree! Ice Cream! (that sister loved to feed her) Smash Cake: I stripped her down because this was the first time in the day the camera came out. I didn't want to get any on that dress before pics!! She DID not like all the attention on her! Melissa's mom let us borrow their jumpy house again! It was perfect! Thank you, Amanda and Doug!!! A couple of friends joined us! We enjoyed celebrating her first year! This party was so much fun to do. Thanks for all the family and friends who helped make the day special.

This month, Farrah: -got teeth #6 and #7 -had her first ear infection -is still at two naps -sleeping so much better at night -learned to go up the stairs -learned to turn around and go down the stairs -crusing along furniture much more confidently -learned how to perfect screaming every time Bella comes near her, so that I get onto Bella :) -still a mama's girl -turbo crawler -still super flexible, but checked out fine with doctors -first and maybe last Peanut Butter and Jelly :(
She is awesome! I am so glad we did these monthly pictures, because life with 2 is CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Happy 1st Birthday to my sweet sweet sweet love, Farrah Kate Green!
Farrah turned 11 months last week. EEEEeee! Time to start party planning! She's getting ready to walk. May still be a while, but she's "cruising" along furniture, and I'll catch her standing with no hands every now and then. She's also learned how to climb stairs. She's a turbo crawler. Loves the outdoors. I remember Bella DID not like to touch grass at her age. Farrah doesn't mind. She's learned to draw with chalk on the driveway with Bella. After a few bites, of course. She's currently cutting tooth #6. And I didn't.sleep.last.night.at.all. She's eating great. Very opinionated. You know what she wants. Usually, that starts with "M" and ends with "ommy". haha She follows Bella around EVERYWHERE. She plays well by herself. Sometimes I feel guilty that she doesn't get the same amount of attention from me that Bella did. But she's great. I'm beginning to wean/she's started to wean... but she doesn't seem to want much of anything out of a sippy. Any advice is welcome. I figure she'll drink when she's thirsty. She'll have maybe a sip of water and a sip of milk before she's done. What did I ever do without this sweet face?
