Gulf Shores

Last week we had a planned vacation with my family in Florida. We left a couple of days early to go and visit the Walkers in Gulf Shores. They are living there for 6 months before going to Europe for a while! How fun, huh? We loved seeing them and of course the girls had a blast with Amelie (and baby Liam tried his best to keep up with the squealing girls.)

We had a GREAT time! Thanks for having us Kelly and Bobby. We love yall!!

Now get ready for this cuteness. Oh my goodness.

Zumba & 4th of July

I haven't posted pictures in a while!! I have a few to share...

First, let me say a BIG THANK YOU for all of the support for Hope From Hallie! The Zumba-thon was so much fun!! And you helped us raise $1500! Wow. Humbling.

Looking back a couple more weeks... Forth of July

We spent the early afternoon at our pool. It was like Spring Break '98 out there... and we had the only kids. But we enjoyed it anyway! Having the pool next to us this summer has been so great, the girls are swimming like little fish now.

That afternoon, we went to a cookout/ good bye party for Kara, Jonathan and Dalton. They are moving back to Florida to be closer to family as Dalton grows. How CUTE is he?? His dimples are so adorable. 

We will miss seeing them, but I feel so blessed to have met Kara and sweet Dalton. Maybe we can visit them sometime!?! :)

Hello friends!

Jeannie Peabody is another one of the wonderful ladies that I have met along our Trisomy Journey. Her son, Porter, is due mid-April, but he is going to be delivered tomorrow, due to low fluid. Jeannie is amazing. Please pray for Jeannie, Seth, their son Cam and Porter. Thank you. These ladies are all dear to me!

Fair 2011

Our hometown fair has become a tradition with my family. We went growing up, but I swear I love it more now.

I was excited about Farrah's age... and although she was thrilled with just being able to walk around, she was not a fan of many rides. She probably most enjoyed the chocolate milk from the petting zoo :) Bella had a blast!! She wanted to ride everything. We rode what we could while we visited with tons of friends that were also at the zoo, ate corn dogs, and tried some fried cheesecake.

Farrah sat in this ride for about 10 seconds. We tried to tell her how much fun it was... but she'd rather just watch. She actually did want to ride the "cars" that were too big for her... next year, Farrah! :)

Shower for Baby Copponex

Last night I went to a dinner/shower for Rachael and Baby Copponex (who will be arriving ANY day now!! Yay!!!) I was honored to be invited. Rachael (whether she knows it or not) has been a inspiration to me over the past year+. Our sisters are long time best friends, but we've just recently in the past couple of years became friends through our blogs :)

Kelly wrote a great post with tons of pictures (check it out, because I didn't take any pictures!) She sums up the night so well!

I am so excited to hear the news of Rachael's baby... and to find out the sex of him/her!!

Abigail's Party

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, we went to Abigail's 2nd birthday party at my aunt's B&B "The Social Goat."

Allison did so great with her theme and decorations. My favorite thing was the farm animal cake pops!

Allison is a long time friend. We danced in the fifth grade talent show together to "Boggie Woggie Bugle Boy" and are still looking for a recording of that... :) haha!

My parents were also there. Farrah loves her G'daddy!

The kids had a great time, despite the crazy heat, and Allison threw a cute, cute party!!

Gwinnett Braves Game

I honestly saw ZERO baseball. We were too busy chasing this crazy around....

This was cracking me UP! Farrah would kamikaze down the hill. Stop, roll on her back, arch and give a smile, roll over, repeat... It may be hard to tell just how ridiculous it was; but funny.


This was the first time Bella has hit a ball off a tee. She did pretty well making contact...

And if she missed, she didn't see a problem with hitting it the other way towards the people standing in line...


I also was able to use their 4th of July outfits and claim to be team spirited :)


And, as always, I will end with something sweet about my husband. But oh my gosh, how HOT is he?!!? :)
