Halloween '11

We trick-or-treated in the neighborhood this year. We ate dinner as we walked (ha!) It was fun as both girls were able to walk to doors (Farrah wasn't walking this time last year) ... and we only did a few blocks before they were worn OUT!

Lots of homes on our street went ALL out decorating. Bella loved just going in and standing in front of all the scary stuff. Farrah, on the other hand, wanted very little to do with it. She liked to get her candy and immediately sit down in the driveways to check out her loot and open the candy.

We were out only about an hour then went back to hand out candy.

It was gone in about 10 minutes. IT WAS NUTS HERE! Groups come in the 20's (not kidding). Bella liked helping give the candy out!

Maxwell

Our neighbor was pregnant and put on bed rest after her water broke at 18 weeks! Little Max was then a miracle when he was born 2 1/2 months premature! Three months later (which was about two weeks ago), they finally were able to bring him home. Their family was basically living at the hospital for 7.5 months! Can you imagine?
Max was having trouble breathing, so as of Tuesday they are back in the hospital :( :( It's an hour by hour deal for them.
Please check out this website/blog and leave an encouraging comment and keep them in your prayers. They've got to be exhausted and just ready for him to get better. Thanks!!!

"Uh-Oh"

This is one of Bella's favorite phrases. It's great - she says it when she drops things and when she pulls my hair!

This also works out because Mom makes lots of "uh-oh's".

This past Gameday, Chris and I hung out with some neighbors. I had never been in their house, and they had a few other friends over - none of which we had ever met. First, Bella, Chris and I walk in ALL decked out in UGA gear. Bella looked cute as ever in a warm up that GG bought her. Chris had on his Red & Black, and I was sporting a Knowshon Jersey. We looked serious. We walk in and no one else was really even in the school colors. Not that it matters... but you know, first impressions - I was thinking "where's the school spirit" and they were probably thinking we were fanatics. Thanks for letting me set the scene.

So, I have worn this jersey a few times this season now. Since it is now fall, I wore a long sleeve shirt underneath. Half way through the game, it got hot. Maybe because we were getting killed by FL, or because I was chasing Bella while trying to eat a hot dog or maybe because it was just November in GEORGIA! Either way, I was pretty quick to take off that long sleeve shirt once I started to break a sweat. Anyhow, about an hour later, I realize - I have a jersey on!!! You can see right through the stupid thing!! No one knew me well enough to say anything. Nice. So, I ran to put the shirt back on.

When uploading these pictures, I got a nice laugh - you can see my nice pink bra and tummy sticking nicely over my jeans. Don't worry, the pictures have been cropped or deleted altogether. "Uh-oh!"

Swingin'

Here's Bella swinging in a swing way to big for her. So, I should say, she's sitting in the swing (about a month ago - I'm really late on this one)

This is her friend, Elliott, who is about 2 months younger but fills that swing out much better!

I love meeting other moms in the park!

We're just plain tired

What a week.

Bella came down with a cold Thursday night. So we haven't slept well since. Poor thing just wasn't breathing well with a stuffy nose, so I can't blame her. It's funny how you are so sleep deprived during the day, but I honestly love taking care of her in the night. Maybe it's because she needs me, but she's so sweet and pitiful at the same time.

Chris has been working a conference for a week today. It's finally over which is awesome. We both have taken over that fun cold, he's been working LONG hours for the conference a little under the weather, and I've been at home while the two of us girls get better... We're pretty much all exhausted.

I went to Kristys today to see her nursery set up, and Bella fell asleep on me just standing there. How sweet is this:

Chris was able to come home a little early tonight from rehersal (8pm?). Well, I noticed earlier in the day that little Astro's mouth / face was swollen. I made an appointment for first thing Friday morning, but it had gotten worse. So the night vet said we needed to bring him in. Chris is a great dad and took him in. He has horrible teeth (Astro that is. Chihuahua's are know for crowded teeth because their mouths are so little). We think it's his tooth. He's about 14 now, so I hope he can handle what ever they are doing to him right now.

When they left the house, I hugged him a little tighter and sent Chris with a piece of cheese for him. Astro LOVES cheese. Chris called to say he tore Astro off a piece, and somehow he's gotten it in his tail. So he is doing circles in the front seat trying to get the cheese. And if any of yall know the breathing noise he makes, you know what it sounds like right now in the car.

Here's to hoping we get some good sleep tonight......
