Game Days

We are finally going to get to Athens this weekend for a game! (Or at least tailgate!) We are excited! With the rain, our renovation, etc., we haven't been up yet with our usual tailgating friends. And I hope the weather stays like this for the weekend!!! Wow, what a beautiful day!

Over Labor Day weekend, we did get to watch the game with family up in Daholenga. Here are some pics of Bella and one with her 2nd cousin, Gracie.

Sadly, we've not taken many pictures in the last month.
We need to change that! Bella's b-day is coming up (the 11th), so we'll have some then for sure...

32 week appointment

I had my 32 week appointment today.

Pretty routine appointment. My fundal height is 35 weeks, so I get to have an ultrasound next week to find out why. Because I like to look at babycenter.com for everything, here are the reasons I could be measuring big:

• Your due date is off. (don't think so)

• You have looser abdominal muscles than most women as a result of an earlier pregnancy. (um, I'd say so!)

• You have uterine fibroids. (never heard of it)

• You're carrying twins or more. (now wouldn't that just be funny)

• You have too much amniotic fluid. (what the doc mentioned as a possibility)

• Your baby is positioned high above your pelvis, which might be the case with a breech baby or if you have a placenta previa. (could be, but my bladder says otherwise)

Or you might simply be carrying a big, perfectly healthy baby. (Bella was 8.2)

So, I am excited to have an ultrasound in 2 weeks!!!!!!!! Can't wait to get a peek!!!

Baby Girl Number 2...

...has a first name...

Farrah

It was SO hard to pick a name, again, but even harder the second time.

A few things to note:

*We have no idea on a middle name yet.

*We were going to call Bella by her middle name, "Reese", but now I can't imagine her as this. Chris and I reserve the right to change it at anytime.

*If you don't like it, just don't tell us. K? Thanks.

I can't WAIT to meet her. To cuddle up with her. To see Bella be a big sister, and to see Chris with his girls :)

September already?

I still can't believe we are in September... but with September comes a new season, football, and all the fun holidays the fall and winter have to offer. I seriously cannot wait to be cuddled up with my two baby girls on the couch soon! (Although 11 weeks is not soon enough, I feel like a hot air balloon!)

And life here is moving fast as usual. It wouldn't be a Green baby if we didn't have a huge house renovation/undertaking deadline. Last week we discovered a decent leak in Bella's closet. We had to decide: fix it, or go ahead with our back room renovations? So right now, we are starting the project! We'll have a dried-in back room by the end of the weekend thanks to Rubicon Construction! We highly recommend them!! It's exciting and scary at the same time. But I think Chris and I thrive in this sort of craziness. If it's not one thing, it's another.

Yesterday I also began to work at Bella's school one morning a week. I'm in the babies room! I just started this week, but I love it.

Needless-to-say, I haven't been great about putting photos up. I'll leave you with a cute video instead!

Eyebrow Raise

I was showing Bella how to raise her eyebrows from the rear-view mirror the other day. Here's her go at it...

I love catching these things on video, because one day she'll get it right. And this stuff is just too cute.

Cape San Blas post #4

Ok, this is only a month late...
...but I am missing the beach, and needed to see these pictures tonight.
And I realized I was missing a post on the last night of Cape San Blas.
We ate at a little local place called the Raw Bar. It has been around for ages, and has a lot of history. Just one big room. You picked your own drink from the fridge (like a gas station) and just used the honor system when paying. And they had fun music playing!
I couldn't eat anything raw being pregnant, but everyone was raving about the oysters.

Here are some pics and a little round-the-table look at the family...
