Last weekend, we celebrated Chris' uncle getting married. Here are a few pictures of the girls and their 2nd cousin, Gracie, who is two years older than Bella. Bella and Gracie favor each other, don't you think?

Bella and Pre-K
Bella started Pre-K last week!
Or, as she called it, her "First Day of going more days!"
She's been going to her school basically since she was born. I volunteer at the church once a week, so she and Farrah go to school that day as well. Now, she gets to go a couple of days more and she has been looking forward to that all summer! She loves school, her friends and her teachers.
The night before, I asked her if she'd like any special requests for breakfast or lunch. She asked for pancakes (with no syrup - she doesn't like her hands sticky!?!) and for string cheese in her lunch. I can do that!
I put up a couple of balloons and paper lanterns and she thought it was the best thing ever. She is constantly setting up pretend parties during the day - mostly pretend birthday parties for when Dad gets home. So I knew she'd love it. It really was so simple, I just have to stop and remember to do those things sometimes! She walked in the dining room that morning and said, "You did this for me?" That made it so special. I love my sweet girl. She is not growing up. She is not growing up. She is not growing up.
Farrah does like syrup.
I may need a new griddle. Or maybe I just need to learn to use it correctly. But they ate them! :)
Chris and I get a kick of how she naturally likes to sit with her legs crossed.
Sister with her sparkly necklace, had to dress up for the occasion.
We are so proud to be your parents, Bella!!

Seacrest Beach - Part 1
A couple of weeks ago, we traveled to Seacrest Beach with The Green Family!
We stayed on the bottom floor, and right outside our patio was the HUGE pool!! There were actually 6 pools all connected! We spent hours out there, mostly at the round one that had big steps for the kids. I can't believe how well the girls are swimming, Farrah in particular. Bella started diving down to get dive toys and stuff this summer. And Farrah couldn't be left behind on the swimming.
We also loved the beach this year. All but one day, the ocean was clear. We built sandcastles and looked for shells with GG and Poppy. During nap time, I got quiet time on the beach alone. It was wonderful.
It was a great vacation! Thank you, Greens!! Here are some pictures!

There a a bunch more from the beach... so I will do a second post!

Zumba & 4th of July
I haven't posted pictures in a while!! I have a few to share...
First, let me say a BIG THANK YOU for all of the support for Hope From Hallie! The Zumba-thon was so much fun!! And you helped us raise $1500! Wow. Humbling.
We had a great turnout!
Cute pic of Farrah and sis-in-law, Melissa!
Looking back a couple more weeks... Forth of July
We spent the early afternoon at our pool. It was like Spring Break '98 out there... and we had the only kids. But we enjoyed it anyway! Having the pool next to us this summer has been so great, the girls are swimming like little fish now.
That afternoon, we went to a cookout/ good bye party for Kara, Jonathan and Dalton. They are moving back to Florida to be closer to family as Dalton grows. How CUTE is he?? His dimples are so adorable.
We will miss seeing them, but I feel so blessed to have met Kara and sweet Dalton. Maybe we can visit them sometime!?! :)
A little family photo
Silly Sisters
Those curls
They loved Dalton's baby toys
Kara even bought the girls some sparklers!
We finished off the fun day with Fireworks at Lenox. We were able to watch from a friend's office building. Thanks, Art and Katie! (I like the mom reflections in these pictures!)
It was a fun day!!
