Welcome the Walker's

... some of my and Chris' best friends started a blog ... welcome the Walkers!
Kelly and Chris grew up together in church starting around 7th grade. Kelly and I were roommates in college along with Kristy and Morgan. Bobby and Kelly started dating in college and we've all been traveling buddies and tailgating fans since. It's fun to do life with such great friends. In the past year, the Walkers: have an adopted 13-year old, worked on renovating a house, taken a 3-week trip to Europe, and have a baby on the way!
They always have something going on in their lives... so I'm excited to read about it.

11 months - 2 weeks ago!

Ok, so Bella turned 11 months September the 11th. These pictures are from the day, the post is just waaaaaaaaaay overdue!
She loves to play with Bandit:
From 11 months
One of her favorite activites: handing me everything! Fuzz on the floor, anything off the table, food (she likes to feed me her food!), you get the point...
From 11 months
It's hard to tell because it's so blonde, but she's growing a little hair:

Still doesn't like grass. This cracks me up! Here she is with a funny face and trying to give me the grass she just touched:

Loves kisses, sometimes:

Beautiful Day

From Fun in the Grass
I love taking Bella out on a blanket in the yard! 1) She stays contained on the blanket because she doesn't want to stay on the grass and 2) it makes for good photo opps!
These are at my parents house. It was so nice in the shade Friday! I could have laid out there all day if it weren't for the fear of yellow jackets... haha. Not kidding. I see ONE and I'm out.

Zoo Visit

From Zoo visit
So we live by the zoo. We have passes but haven't taken advantage of it very much at all. But now that Bella is getting older and actually looks at the animals, I love going. We can take our morning of afternoon walks over and see the stinky flamingos or the stinky elephants.
They also have a stinky petting zoo. The three of us rushed over Sunday to go catch a peek. The zoo was still open, but the petting zoo was closed. So... we took Bella on her first train and first carousel ride! It brought back memories of being a kid on that same train.

GOOOOOOOOO Dawgs!

From UGA v Central Mich Tailgating
Yesterday I drove up to Athens to tailgate with Kelly, Bobby and Morgan. It was hot as anything, but fun! It was strange to not be with my better half, or my little half, but they was there in spirit wearing their own black and red...
Chris was in the studio Fri/Sat and little Bella hung out with Grandmother.
I look forward to a great season this year, and to the cooler weather to come...

Energy!

From R-Ranch - Labor Day Weekend 2008
After leaving the R-Ranch last weekend, we stopped and had dinner in Cumming at Red Robin. I had never been before; yummy! Bella was crazy at dinner!! I think she was tired of being in the car seat and hadn't really been able to crawl around the whole day. So in the highchair she was throwing her food on the ground and only wanted mac n' cheese! We decided we weren't going to make it home pleasantly with out letting her get some energy out.
We were at some shops like the Avenue in Snellville or the Forum (maybe is was the Avenue of Cumming? I have no idea) and in the center they had a grassy area. I realized I'd never put Bella straight on the grass. She is so girly. She'd hold her legs up so she wouldn't touch it!
Here are some fun pictures. And she got to crawl around for 30 minutes so our plan worked!
