Halloween 2010
Morgan talks every year about wanting to have a Halloween party. This year, she finally did it! :) She always hosts so well and has lots of fun food and decorations. She didn't let us down this time, either!
Chris gets the comment that he looks like Finn from Glee.
And I have to agree, he kinda does!! So, I went with it.
(Or it might just be that I've always dreamed of breaking out in song many times in life)
It made for an easy costume for Chris (showing up in a striped shirt!). I was just going to get some general red cheerleading costume and be Quinn.
But I used my mom's obsessiveness to my advantage. She made this costume - isn't it awesome?
She also made this one for Morgan:
The party itself was so much fun! Morgan had us dancing outside under some cool lights all night. It was pretty cold (especially for the Flintstones with no shoes!) but we had a blast!!! Can't wait for next year!
I seriously don't know the last time I've laughed this much. It was such a fun time; one of those times where you know you'll keep the memories forever...

Gold Rush
The Saturday of our Dahlonega weekend, we along with GG and Poppy, Renya and Bruce, met Molly and Jim for breakfast at Ma Gooch's - this place has become a tradition, eating here at least twice every trip.
This is taken with my phone the night we ate dinner there. It will probably be one of few I catch with Farrah in a hat :)

Molly and Jim
After eating, we went to Gold Rush! I'm embarrassed to say this is my first time going, even though I went to North Georgia College my freshman year. It was fun to walk around - and people watch :)
GG and Poppy had fun watching Bella on the big slide and on the pony ride. She was all smiles! And, Farrah loved watching her!
Isn't my hubbie so cute??!?!
This is us TRYING to get a family photo:
Ok, let's try just Farrah:
GG and Poppy!
I'm putting this picture up merely because I like it of myself. And, it's my blog so I can do that. haha
GG doing a wall sit and holding two girls. Impressive!
After walking around a bit, the girls were grumpy! We walked
back down to the grocery store where our car was parked and bought food. The parade was setting up in the parking lot and it was great entertainment for us and the girls as we snacked!
We cleared out all our luggage and sat in the back:
After waiting and waiting for the parade to start, we finally had to figure a back way out of the parking lot. Chris drove home (thankful that he always drives) and we all passed out in the car!
WHAT A FUN WEEKEND!

Burts
Growing up, my family went to Burts Pumpkin Farm quite a few times. We've talked about going to the last few years as our little family, but this year is the first time we've taken the girls. We had to go since we were up for the weekend! We went on a Friday morning, and saw no less than 7 couples we knew. Popular place!
First: Hayride
Second: Hang with Friends
Three: Get a family shot
Four: Pick the Pumpkin!
What a great time. Who DOESN'T love fall??

Roetman Wedding
We went to a beautiful wedding in Dahlonega last weekend at Blackstock Vineyard. It worked out great, because it was a mile from Chris' aunts house. We dropped the girls off, and had a great time! We then spent the rest of the weekend up there doing the pumpkin farm, Gold Rush, etc. I love fall!
Best of luck to the happy couple, Luke and Hannah!
